Timber used in CE (Civil Engineering)
Royal Boogaerdt Timber has accrued significant expertise in the area of timber for civil engineering (CE) in Europe. Strength and durability often are the vital elements here. We import timber in landing sizes from African sawmills. In addition, for exceptional measurements and extreme lengths, we dispose of a large stock of roundwood for our own sawmill in Krimpen aan de Lek. This makes us highly flexible, enabling us to quickly realise a tailor-made solution for any desire. In addition to the sawing, all other conceivable operations are possible for a semi-finished product or your desired customised end product. Also in terms of sorting by strength, we hold the necessary certificates, to be able to supply the wood for constructive application with CE marking.
We have (constructive) solutions for an array of hydraulic applications:
- Shoring: sheet piling and partitions
- Fenders: purlins and piles
- Bridges: decking, poles and railing
- Constructions: scaffolds and deck parts
- Sound barriers
- Lock gates
