Cairo

For a nice result in facade cladding, there is also the Cairo profile (channel siding). This is used vertically, for a horizontal facade the Hanoi profile (half-timber rabat) is recommended. The Cairo profile is slightly tighter than the Hanoi profile. This is because this profile is planed with smaller curves. Vertical installation creates a luxurious variation. Especially if it is decided to apply the profile on the facade in different lengths in a staggered manner. This gives a beautiful, but also playful effect. By using the tongue and groove of different widths, you get an ideal drainage profile. The Cairo profile can be produced in different types of wood. Accoya® and Western Red Cedar are then the main woods to be selected. Certainly Accoya® with its long durability and low effect is perfectly suitable. But Padauk and Oregon Pine are also possible types of wood that are possible in this profile for vertical fastening.
